Mark Holmberg, BDS, MS

Dr. Mark Holmberg has practiced orthodontics in the Twin Cities for the past 35 years. He graduated with a dental degree from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He went on to the University of Illinois for his orthodontic training and certification where he received the William B. Davis Award for Clinical Excellence.

Dr. Holmberg served on the faculty at the University of Minnesota in the School of Dentistry and Division of Orthodontics from 1979 to 1994.

Born in Kenya and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr. Holmberg has made Edina, Minnesota, his home for the past 35 years. He and his wife, Hedy, have two adult children who are in graduate school, one of which is in dental school. They also have a three-legged dog! When he’s not in the office, Dr. Holmberg enjoys skiing, good food and wine, and spending summers at his cabin on Bay Lake. He is also an active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Linden Hills.
